Dear Parents,Please note that there is a new Welcome Center that has opened at Beach 44th St and Edgemere Avenue as part of the Arverne East Project. There is a contest to name the center. The organization is seeking suggestions for the name from the community. Once a list of suggestions have been gathered, PS 106 students will get the opportunity to judge the submissions and select the name of the center. Please see the attached flyer for more information. Note that the submission deadline has been extended, so you can still submit ideas for names. In addition, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Welcome Center will take place on Wednesday, April 24 at 3:30pm. Students and their families are invited to attend. The address is 190 Beach 44th Street. Please feel free to contact the school with any questions.Thank you.Lighthouse Elementary-PS106Q

School T-Shirts
Lighthouse Elementary believes having good character is important. We demonstrate positive character as role models for our students. Each Friday, all staff members wear our specially designed character education t-shirts and sweatshirts to show unity. We even have a PS106 Web Store for staff and parents to purchase the shirts.
Please use the link below if you would like to purchase your own shirt(s).
